Marie Nieves, who has been living with family for the past four years, is moving into an apartment in Port Chester with her family, but when she went to pick up her belongings from the storage unit some were missing including a $1,200 laptop and a TV, said News12.

Nieves told News12 she has paid more than $3,000 to store the items at Runge Moving and Storage, that is now known as Let's Make A Deal, and wants the business to pay for the missing items.

She told the news station that many of her items including her couch and bed were damaged.

After being told by the new owner that they weren't responsible for her loss, Nieves has filed a small claim for $5,000 against both the old and new businesses in Yonkers city court, said News12.

Nieves told News12 she hopes to appear in court and have the matter resolved by late November.
