Woman Loses $99 at a Chappaqua Donut Shop

CHAPPAQUA, N.Y.—On August 14, a larceny was reported at Dunkin’ Donuts on 86 South Greeley Avenue after a woman put down her wallet when she was paying and forgot it at the coffee shop. When she returned, the wallet was missing $99. The case is still under investigation by New Castle Police and no suspects have been found thus far.

Monday, August 8, a five foot statue was taken from a home at 9 Deercreek Lane in Mount Kisco. The case is pending, no suspects have been found.

Thursday, August 11, a mailbox was damaged on 10 Cedar Lane in Chappaqua. No suspects were found in the mischief.

Also on Thursday, August 11, the door of a VW was damaged at 150 Hamilton Road, no suspects found yet.

August 13, there was a civil dispute on 140 South Bedford Road over an electronic system installed in a home. The homeowner and installer got into a verbal argument. The case has been referred to small claims court.

August 14, a mailbox was damaged on 35 Shingle House Road in Millwood.
