Winter Storm Arrives In Chappaqua

CHAPPAQUA, N.Y. - Salt spreaders and snow plows are hitting the roads and residents are heading home early on Friday, as the winter storm named Nemo arrives in the New Castle.

The National Weather Service predicted heavy snowfall and high winds through Saturday morning for the Westchester County area.

Chappaqua Central School District were on early dismissal schedules on Friday.

All after-school activities, as well as local recreation and government events, including those at the Chappaqua Public Library, have also been canceled for Friday and Saturday,
