White Plains Hospital Welcomes Dr. Jeffrey Vainshtein

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. -- White Plains Hospital recently announced the addition of Radiation Oncologist Dr. Jeffrey Vainshtein, to the hospital staff.

Dr. Vainshtein received his MD from Albert Einstein College of Medicine in Bronx. He completed an internship in General Surgery at Saint Joseph Mercy Hospital in Ann Arbor, Mich. followed by residency training in Radiation Oncology at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, where he was selected to serve as chief resident. Prior to joining White Plains Hospital,

Dr. Vainshtein was on the faculty of the Department of Radiation Oncology at the Winship Cancer Institute of the Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, Ga.. He is Board Certified in Radiation Oncology and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Radiology.

He specializes in the management of head and neck, thoracic, gastrointestinal, and genitourinary malignancies, and is experienced in the treatment of brain and spine tumors, lymphomas, sarcomas, breast cancer, and gynecological cancers. 

Dr. Vainshtein has collectively authored or co-authored over 50 peer-reviewed manuscripts, abstracts, and textbook chapters. He has presented his research at numerous national and international conferences.
