What's Happening This Weekend in Chappaqua

CHAPPAQUA, N.Y. - With Christmas and Hanukkah celebrations in full force, many religious buildings will be holding services for residents of all ages. Take a look below for the list of events:

Temple Beth El is inviting residents for a night of crafts, songs, games and dinner at its Hanukkah party on Friday at 5:30 p.m. Those wishing to attend must RSVP (rhill@bethelnw.org) and admission is $10 per person. The event will be followed by a candle lighting at 7:15 p.m.

The First Congregational Church of Chappaqua is holding family service at 5 p.m. and a candlelight service at 10 p.m. on Christmas. The church will also hold a 10 a.m. worship on Christmas Day.

The Church of Saint Mary the Virgin is holding a Family Christmas Eve Eucharist at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, followed by a Christmas music program with the Senior Choir at 10 p.m., and a Festival Christmas Eucharist at 10:30 p.m. There will be Christmas Mass the following morning at 9:30 with Carols.

On Saturday at 4 p.m., the Church of St. John and St. Mary is holding children's mass. The service will be followed by vigil mass and carols at 9:30 p.m.

The Chappaqua Library will be closed on Dec. 24, 25 and 26.
