What's Happening This Weekend in Chappaqua

CHAPPAQUA, N.Y. – Chappaqua has several events going on this weekend for residents of all ages. There will be scavenger hunts, tag sales, the farmer’s market and more. Take a look below for the list of events:

From 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday, the First Congregational Church of Chappaqua is holding its third annual tag sale. The sale will also continue on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.

At 3 p.m. on Friday, the Chappaqua Library will continue its “Twain’s Domain” theme when the Teen Zone invites teens to create candy houses inspired by Mark Twain’s literature. Participants must bring two bags of candy to share.

Later that night at 7, the library is hosting a vieweing of Ken Burns’ documentary, “Mark Twain.”

The Chappaqua Farmer’s Market will run from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Saturday at the Chappaqua Train Station.

The Horace Greeley High School football team will be playing its last game of the season when they play at Spring Valley at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday.

On Saturday at 5 p.m., the Chappaqua Library is welcoming participants to dress up in Halloween costumes and “scavenge” the library in search of clues that will lead them to  a “surprising Twist with Twain” ending. Participants must register.
