What's Happening in Chappaqua This Weekend

Friday, April 27

Chappaqua School Foundation Spring Benefit: 7 p.m. CSF's 18th annual silent auction and dinner event is the organization's largest fundraiser of the year. Trump National Golf Club.

Saturday, April 28

New Castle Little League Opening Day: 8 a.m. New Castle little leaguers will take the field for the first baseball games of the season. Senter Street Field.

Chappaqua Farmers Market: 9 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. Church of St. Mary the Virgin. 

New Castle Clean-Up Day: 10 a.m. Various locations. Cleaning stations with plastic gloves and bags will be set up throughout New Castle Saturday for residents wanting help picking up debris and litter. Stations will be in front of the farmer’s market next to the pocket park near Susan Lawrence, in front of Bank of America and at Millwood Hardware.

Bridge and Scrabble Club: 10 a.m. While bridge play is not for beginners, all levels are welcome for Scrabble. The club meets weekly and is free and open to the public. Chappaqua Library. 

Local Author/Illustrator Festival: 2 p.m. There will be a panel discussion with authors and illustrators Sujean Rim, Matt Van Fleet, Mara Van Fleet, Jacqueline Weitzman and Ed Young. They will be selling and signing books for children of all ages. Registration is necessary as space is limited. Chappaqua Library.

Westorchard Elementary School Play: 7 p.m. Students at Westorchard will debut their performance of "Annie." Seven Bridges Middle School.

Sunday, April 29

Westorchard Elementary School Play: 2 p.m. Students at Westorchard will return to the stage for their second performance of "Annie." Seven Bridges Middle School.
