What’s Closed In Chappaqua On President’s Day?

CHAPPAQUA, N.Y. – Take a look at what’s open and what’s closed for this year’s celebration of Presidents’ Day, which traditionally falls on the third Monday of every February and this year is Feb. 18.

In Chappaqua, New Castle Town Hall offices are closed, as are banks.

The Chappaqua Central School District will be closed for the first day of winter recess, which will continue into Tuesday. Wednesday originally was part of winter recess as well; however, due to snow days, it has become an additional instruction day.

The Chappaqua Public Library will be closed and there will be no mail delivery as President’s Day is a postal holiday.

Most retail stores and restaurants will have their normal hours.

Metro-North Railroad will operate on a Saturday schedule. Hudson Rail Link, the Newburgh-Beacon Ferry and the Haverstraw-Ossining Ferry will not operate.
