Westchester Customers Still In The Dark After Windstorms Knock Out Power

WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- Powerful wind gusts over the weekend have left more than 2,000 Westchester County residents without power on Monday morning according to Con Edison and NYSEG.

Con Edison is reporting 1,327 customers without power with NYSEG reporting another 675 as of 9:45 a.m. on Monday, including 690 customers in Mount Vernon. The Con Edison website estimates most customers will have services restored no later than 4 p.m. on Monday. 

Crews have worked to restore power to much of the county after the windstorm left more than 12,000 in Westchester in the dark on Sunday.
