WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- After a comfortable victory in last weeks race for Westchester County Executive, Robert Astorino stated he is exploring the idea of challenging Andrew Cuomo for New York State Governor, according to the New York Post

Astorino cited a bad business climate, bad regulatory policies and crippling pension costs as his concerns. He said he and his camp are working on developing policies for a state-wide campaign, the Post said. 

Astorino defeated New Rochelle Mayor Noam Bramson with 56.2 percent of the vote in a predominantly Democratic county, the Post reported.
