West Point Cadets Help Habitat For Humanity In Chappaqua

CHAPPAQUA, N.Y. -- Several West Point cadets were in Chappaqua recently to help build affordable housing along with Habitat for Humanity.

The 35 cadets worked on several projects the organization has under construction in the area, including a large house that is being turned into two condominiums. 

"Thousands of work hours have been put in by local Chappaqua residents, and West Point is part of my army of volunteers who helps me regularly," said Jim Killoran, executive director of the Habitat for Humanity of Westchester. "This is a large former church and nursery that will be turned into two passive house condos in Chappaqua, affordable for families.:
