MILLWOOD, N.Y. Two drivers sustained minor injuries Thursday afternoon following an accident on the Taconic State Parkway that left one vehicle overturned.
At approximately 3:12 p.m. while traveling northbound near Campfire Road, a blue SUV rolled over during an accident involving a silver Subaru Forester, according to Millwood Fire Chief Greg Santone. State Police, as well as Millwood and Briarcliff Fire Departments, responded to the scene, where both drivers were reported to be "conscious and alert."
The driver of the SUV, a male, was transferred to Phelps Memorial Hospital in Sleepy Hollow with apparent minor injuries, Santone said. The female driver of the Subaru was released to family members.
