Two Injured When Car, Garbage Truck Collide In Millwood

MILLWOOD, N. Y. -- Two people were injured Thursday morning when a garbage truck crashed head-on into a car on Shingle House Road in Millwood, according to News 12 Westchester.

New Castle police said the accident closed Shingle House Road for several hours Thursday, Lohud.com reported. The Mercedes, headed northbound, slammed head-on into the garbage truck, which had flipped over.

Both drivers were taken to local hospitals with non-life threatening injuries.
