This Week's New Castle Public Events and Meetings

NEW CASTLE, N.Y. – Every week, many New Castle organizations and committees hold community events or convene for public meetings. Here is the New Castle community calendar for the week:

- The Millwood Board of Fire Commissioners will hold its monthly meeting at 7:30 p.m. on Monday at Millwood Firehouse No. 2 on Route 134. Click here for the agenda .

- The Chappaqua Central School District Board of Education will meet at 8:15 p.m. on Tuesday at Horace Greeley High School. Click here for the agenda .

- The Chappaqua Library is holding a "Valentine Book Making" event on Tuesday at 4 p.m. The library is welcoming children in kindergarten through second grade to write, illustrate, and bind a love story. Registration is necessary, as space is limited.

- There will be a book discussion group at the Chappaqua Library at 7 p.m. on Thursday. The discussion of Edith Wharton's "Custom of the Country" will be led by Susan Zangler. Ask at the information desk for a copy of the book. The event is free and open to the public.

- The Millwood Task Force will convene for its monthly meeting at 8 p.m. on Thursday at Millwood Firehouse No. 2 on Route 134.
