South Greeley Parking Lot Closed Until Saturday

CHAPPAQUA, N.Y.-- The South Greeley parking lot will be closed to traffic for the remainder of this week while crews work to finish the project by its Labor Day (Sept. 6) completion date.

The project is currently on schedule, according to a press release from David Brito, New Castle director of planning. He also said crews are set to lay down the first layer of pavement Thursday and Friday, as well as pour the concrete for the sidewalks, dumpster pads and curbs.

Residents are urged to park in other areas such as the Bell Middle School parking lot and the parking lot beyond lower King Street. Any car left in the South Greeley parking lot will be towed.
