Some Still Without Power In Westchester Following Storm

WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. - More than a dozen Con Edison customers remain without power in Westchester County following the “bomb cyclone” storm system that blasted the Hudson Valley on Thursday.

As of Friday afternoon, 16 of Con Edison’s 348,198 Westchester customers were without power. According to Con Ed, the estimated time of restoration for those homes is approximately 3 p.m.

Yorktown was the biggest victim, with 12 customers still without service. An additional two were waiting in Cortlandt, while lone customers in White Plains and North Castle are without power.

In Northern Westchester, NYSEG has completely restored power to their 33,012 customers.
