Snow Expected To Arrive In Mid-Afternoon Tuesday In Chappaqua

WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- Tuesday started with sunny skies in Westchester County, but clouds will begin to roll in during the afternoon, bringing rain during the day that is expected to change to snow in mid-afternoon.

Rain is expected to start after 3 p.m. on Tuesday with a high temperature around 42 degrees. Chance of precipitation is 80 percent. 

Rain will begin to change over to snow in the late afternoon as temperatures dip to the freezing mark. Less than one inch of snow accumulation is expected. 

Sun and more seasonable temperatures will return on Thursday with a high around 52 degrees. 

Showers will return on Thursday night and linger on Friday with a high around 64 degrees.
