The storm will bring a mix of snow, freezing rain and sleet to much of Southern Westchester, resulting in hazardous travel conditions with slick roads. There could be up to 2 inches of snow accumulation.

Farther north, there will be more snow accumulation as temperatures hover below the freezing mark. Northern Westchester could see 2-4 inches of snow accumulation and there could be 4 to 6 inches of snow accumulation in Putnam County, where a Winter Storm Watch is in effect from 3 p.m. Sunday to midnight Tuesday.

Snow is expected to mix with rain and freezing rain starting around 3 p.m. Sunday before becoming all snow overnight into Monday in Northern Westchester and continuing as a wintry mix in Central and Southern Westchester.

An additional 2 to 4 inches of accumulation is possible Monday until about 9 p.m.

The outlook for Tuesday calls for mostly sunny skies and a high of 33.
