NEW CASTLE, N.Y. - Gov. Andrew Cuomo agreed on Wednesday night to sign off on proposed legislative maps that will bring several changes to the political landscape of New Castle, according to a report from The Wall Street Journal.
The approved districts show Sen. Greg Ball (R, C - Patterson) representing New Castle in the new Senate District 40. Ball will replace the retiring Suzi Oppenheimer as New Castle's representative in the senate.
Robert Castelli (R, C - Goldens Bridge) will remain New Castle's representative in the assembly, according to the legislative maps. However, Assembly District 89, which he currently serves, will be renumbered Assembly District 93. The new district will add the town of North Salem, along with some adjustments to the district’s boundaries in White Plains.

I am a former Greg Ball supporter who will be working very hard to make sure that Greg Ball will NOT be representing Chappaqua as of January 2013.
