- New York State released the results of the Grades 3 to 8 English Language Assessments and Math Assessment results for the Chappaqua Central School District Wednesday with the district performing better overall than the state average.
- Chappaqua residents came out to a recent New Castle Town Board meeting to express their opposition to the Chappaqua Crossing project. According to an article in The Examiner News, residents spoke out against a rezone request for the project, fearing it would increase traffic and hurt local businesses.
- Construction is nearing completion on Via Vanti at the Chappaqua Metro-North Railroad station. In July, the Town Board approved a $122,600 bid from Queens-based Meli Contracting Co. Inc to enhance the 111-year old building's foundation. Work is expected to be completed by the fall.
