NEW CASTLE, N.Y. A Peekskill man stole a credit card from a Chappaqua resident and used it to purchase approximately $1,000 in merchandise on Tuesday, New Castle Police said.
According to police, Luis Morocho, 35, was working at the resident's Chappaqua home when the credit card was stolen. Morocho was charged with fourth-degree grand larceny and second-degree identity theft, both felonies.
He was held at Westchester County Jail on $25,000 bail and set to appear in New Castle Justice Court on Jan. 12, 2012.
