Overnight Parkers in New Castle Will Be Ticketed

CHAPPAQUA, N.Y. - Park at your own risk. That was the message as the New Castle Police Department and the New Castle Department of Public Works reminded residents that vehicles parked in town roads overnight will be ticketed.

"Get your car off the road at night so you don't get a ticket," said Town Supervisor Susan Carpenter at Tuesday night's town board meeting.

The overnight parking ban runs from 1 a.m. to 7 a.m. and will be in effect until April 1, 2012.
