NEW CASTLE, N.Y. - New Castle Police have arrested Nestor Alejandro Guaman Guartambel, 25, of Ossining, and charged him with the alleged rape of a 26-year-old New Castle woman.
According to a press release, the victim told police on Sunday that she was sexually attacked by Guartambel in a New Castle home. After an investigation, police arrested Guartambel at his Yale Avenue residence in Ossining on Thursday.
He was charged with first-degree rape, a class B felony, and arraigned before Town Justice David Zuckerman. Guartambel is currently being held without bail at the Westchester County Jail.
