Highway Department foreman Jamie Norris told the Town Board at its Aug. 10 session that his crews need to wrap up Windmill Farm and other repaving projects before tackling new ones, The Examiner reported.

Town Board members agreed that undertaking more paving projects at this point could affect brush and leaf collection in September and snow plowing this winter, The Examiner reported.

Supervisor Michael Schiliro said road maintenance is a top quality-of-life issue and the town plans to budget about $1.2 million for it next year, The Examiner said.
