Nor'easter On Way To Westchester With Wintry Mix

WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. – A significant coastal storm will impact Westchester County on Wednesday and Thursday, according to the National Weather Service.

An anticipated nor’easter may bring heavy winds, rain and possible snow to Westchester and cause coastal flooding and beach erosion. 

Rain will begin Wednesday afternoon. It will remain mostly cloudy, with a high near 47 degrees and winds 13 to 18 miles per hour increasing to between 19 and 24 miles per hour in the afternoon. A mix of rain and snow will continue overnight with a low of around 38 degrees and wind between 24 and 26 miles per hour with gusts as high as 55 miles per hour in some areas. 

A rain and snow mix will continue into Thursday before turning to all rain by 10 a.m. It will be cloudy, with a high near 50 degrees.
