CHAPPAQUA, N.Y. -- Here are some of the stories that topped the news in Chappaqua last week:
- Roughly three months after the New Castle Town Board voted to rescind a lease for the Chappaqua train station, the town has released a new request for proposals for renting the historic space.
A body found in Chappaqua's Glazier Preserve Thursday night was confirmed to be that of missing 21-year-old Miles Applebaum of Armonk, according to New Castle Police.
- The vehicle belonging to Miles Applebaum was found in a wooded area in neighboring New Castle, according to an announcement from North Castle police.
- Westchester is home to nine billionaires on the 2014 Forbes 400 list that was released on Monday, Sept. 29.
- The mother of missing Armonk resident Miles Applebaum implored him to return when she spoke at a vigil. The vigil included candlelights, along with remarks and singing from officials at the Applebaum family's updated local synagogue, Congregation B'nai Yisrael.
