NEW CASTLE, N.Y. - Following a shortened Thanksgiving week, many public committees and boards will be returning with regularly scheduled meetings this week. Schedules are subject to change.
-BEST4NY, a group dedicated to better Education and smarter taxation for New York, will be meeting at 7 p.m. on Monday in the Assembly Room at Town Hall. William M. Mooney, Jr., President of the Westchester County Association, will discuss the new statewide mandate relief effort entitled, LETNYWORK.
-Following up on its climate discussion at Town Hall, the Sustainability Advisory Board will host a Sustainability Summit on Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. in the Assembly Room at Town Hall. The board will be canvasing community leaders and members on what their priorities for sustainability are in New Castle.
-The Chappaqua Central School District Board of Education will meet Tuesday at 8:15 p.m. at Horace Greeley High School.
-The Zoning Board of Appeals will meet at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday in the Assembly Room at Town Hall. Click here for the agenda.
-The Millwood Task Force will meet at 8 p.m. on Thursday at Millwood Firehouse #2 on Route 134.
