New Castle Public Events and Meetings for the Week

NEW CASTLE, N.Y. - Every week, many New Castle organizations and committees hold community events or convene for public meetings. Here is the New Castle community calendar for the week:

-New Castle Town Hall has no meetings scheduled for the week.

-The Chappaqua Library is having a Harry Potter movie marathon. The library will be showing a Harry Potter movie twice daily at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. from Tuesday to Thursday, and at 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. on Friday. The showings are free and open to the public and children wearing a costume are eligible for a daily raffle drawing.

-The New Castle Recreation and Parks Department is holding "Mad Science" labs for students in kindergarten through fourth grades in the Community Center from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. During the labs, students will learn about forensic science, behaviors of bugs and animals, and more. Call the department at (914) 238-3909 to register. The cost is $60 per class and $165 for all three.
