New Castle Police Warn Residents After Larcenies From Vehicles

NEW CASTLE, N.Y. -- New Castle are being reminded to lock their vehicles after two cars were stolen and numerous items were taken from others overnight Saturday, police said.

The two stolen vehicles, which had their keys inside, were taken from Hidden Hollow Lane. In addition, several other unlocked vehicles had valuable items stolen in the area of Stand Street and Ledgewood Commons in Millwood, police said.

Police are asking residents to lock their vehicles, remove all valuables, including cell phones, iPads, backpacks, etc., and to keep an eye out for suspicious activity in their neighborhoods.
