New Castle Police Warn Of Hazardous Driving Conditions

CHAPPAQUA, N.Y. – New Castle residents are being urged to stay off the roads and avoid unnecessary travel as snow changes to sleet and freezing rain Monday afternoon.

"Road conditions are expected to deteriorate, causing hazardous driving conditions," said a release prepared by Lt. Dan Cannon.

Department of Public Works crews are working on the roads, and residents are advised to use extreme caution if they must travel.
