NEW CASTLE, N.Y. - The New Castle Police Department is asking residents to take caution around already loosened branches and trees that could come down during Wednesday's storm.
The storm is predicted to bring heavy wind, rain and snow to area starting early this afternoon and into tomorrow. Already downed wires may become snow covered and present a heightened risk, police said.
Trick-or-treating was re-scheduled by New Castle last week until Wednesday, but police are recommending that families also cancel those plans in anticipation of the storm.
