NEW CASTLE, N.Y. ‒ Snow and icy conditions have caused New Castle roads to be extremely hazardous, police said.

Highway crews are working to make the roads safe, but police recommend avoiding travel until the storm has passed. If residents must travel, police ask them to at least wait until highway crews have spread salt on the roads.
