New Castle Declares State Of Emergency Ahead Of Sandy

NEW CASTLE, N.Y. - A State of Emergency has been declared for New Castle from 6 a.m. Monday to 6 a.m. Thursday in anticipation of Hurricane Sandy.

During the emergency period, which was declared by Supervisor Susan Carpenter, residents will not be allowed to park or leave a car unatended on any town road. Any cars left in the road are subject to being towed.
