The 87-year-old man who went missing in Yonkers Friday morning has been found and is safe, according to the New York State Department of Public Safety.

Earl Whittaker was safely located in Manhattan late Monday afternoon.

An 87-year-old man suffering from dementia has been reported missing in Westchester.

Officials released an alert on Tuesday regarding Earl Whittaker, who was last seen on Phillipse Place in Yonkers wearing light blue pants, a gray thermal shirt, dark blue jacket, a tan hat and black sneakers. When he was last seen, police said he was unshaven.

Whittaker has been described as a bald 5-foot-5 African American weighing approximately 140 pounds with brown eyes. Anyone with information on Whittaker’s whereabouts or who may recognize him has been asked to contact investigators at the Yonkers Police Department by calling (914) 377-7900.
