WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- Sunday marked the first day of a new month, but Westchester residents saw the same old weather scenario as March indeed came in like a lion.
Parts of the area saw as much asa half foot of snow before the system winded down in the early morning hours Monday.
Somers, Eastchester and Armonk all reported exactly 6.2 inches of accumulation just before midnight, according to the National Weather Service. Dobbs Ferry reported 6.1 inches and Mount Kisco 4.4 inches.
The outlook for Monday calls for cloudy skies, followed by gradual clearing with the high temperature climbing to between 35 and 37 degrees.
