CHAPPAQUA, N.Y. -- It took more than two hours for firefighters to control a large brush fire in Chappaqua on Saturday afternoon.
The fire, reported just before 1:30 p.m., was off Cindy Way near the Pinecliff Audubon Sanctuary.
Heavy, black smoke was visible in the wooded area around the sanctuary.
