NEW CASTLE, N.Y. -- New Castle Police responded to a 911 call on Monday, Sept 22, and arrived just in time to help deliver a baby girl, officials said.
Gregory Calnon made the call that his wife was in labor. Police Officers Raymond Bourbeau and Kraig Davenport helped deliver the baby before the mother and daughter were taken to Phelps Memorial Hospital Center in Sleepy Hollow, police said.
Both mother and baby are said to be "doing fine," police said.
