A crash that initially blocked two lanes on a stretch of southbound I-95 and another crash that took out a lane on eastbound I-287 caused heavy delays Friday morning.
The I-95 crash occurred at North Avenue/Cedar Street (Exit 16) in New Rochelle with traffic backed up to Fenimore Road (Exit 18A) through the morning commute before the lanes were cleared..
The I-287 crash, reported at 7:30 a.m., initially took out the left lane between Exit 4 (Route 100A) and Exit 5 (Route 119).
