NEW CASTLE, N.Y. – Hundreds of customers were still without power in Yorktown Wednesday morning after strong, gusty winds moved through the area Tuesday.
As of 8 a.m., Con Edison reported 494 customers had no electricity. The utility estimated that most, if not all customers, would have power restored by 11 p.m. Wednesday.
