Steven and Megan Grskovic are relocating to Katonah from Boston with their three children looking to become part of a community many see as one of the jewels of Westchester County.

The show, which premiered in 1999, will feature the Grskovics as they research the market with Pieragostini and plan their move to Westchester from Boston. "House Hunters" typically follows home buyers in different markets while they compare three different properties.

Real estate in the Lower Hudson Valley is very much sought after, said Pieragostini who works for Paddington Stone Realty and focuses on selling single family properties in Katonah, Somers, Bedford Hills, Mount Kisco, Pleasantville, South Salem, North Salem and Brewster. A longtime Mount Kisco resident, Pieragostini said people pay a premium to live in bucolic towns like Bedford or Lewisboro for their tony neighborhoods and top-tier school districts.

“They’re paying a premium to live in a town that Martha Stewart and Richard Gere and Tim Robbins and Ryan Reynolds call home,” he said, referring to Bedford in a recent interview with The Daily Voice, “where the neighboring town is home to an ex-president, where one of our greatest clothing designers Ralph Lauren resides.”

"House Hunters" stirred up some controversy recently when it was revealed that the couples had already closed on the properties before filming. The network has since stated that the goal of the show is merely to give a sense of the home-buying process.
