Six mailboxes have been damaged or stolen throughout the town of New Castle during the past week.
On June 20 at 4 p.m. a mailbox was stolen from a home at Stornowaye in Chappaqua. Three days later, at 8:30 p.m., there was property damage of a mailbox at Carolyn Lane in Chappaqua. The next day June three mailboxes were stolen in Chappaqua and Mount Kisco throughout the day. The mailboxes were taken from James Road in Mount Kisco at 9 a.m., Deepwood Hill in Chappaqua at 9:15. and Whitlaw Lane at 5 p.m.
There was criminal mischief of a mailbox on Indian Hill Road at 9 a.m. June 27.
