  • Greenburgh Police Chief Chris McNerney told the Daily Voice an active investigation is under way to determine the exact cause of the Sprainbrook Nursery fire.
  • A Con Edison utility pole fell down on Route 119 near Knollwood Road Tuesday afternoon and the roadway was temporarily closed while Con Edison worked on cutting power to the pole and removing it from the roadway.

  • Authorities in South Carolina discovered the body of a missing 4-year-old autistic boy from White Plains in a pond on Friday morning, according to ABC New York. 

  • All six county-run golf courses in Westchester will close for the season on Sunday, Jan. 4.
