Pfc. Da’Quan Foster was shot several times following an argument outside of the Latitude 84 club in Tacoma at 1:40 a.m. on Oct. 29. He and his wife - who was also shot in the hand - were walking out of the club when they were confronted by rap music promoter Marshall Marion Wilson.

A fight broke out, police said, and while Foster and his wife were attempting to flee, Wilson allegedly fired several shots, striking the two.

Foster was from Yonkers and grew up in New Rochelle. He was a 2013 New Rochelle High School graduate, and an indoor track standout in the 55-meter dash, 300 meters and shot put, competing in the 2013 Section 1 championships.

Calling hours for Foster will be held from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 10 at Pelham Funeral Home on Lincoln Avenue, with a service scheduled for the following day at noon at the Woolworth Chapel at Woodlawn Cemetery in the Bronx. He will be buried later that day with full military honors.

Following his arrest, Wilson pleaded not guilty to second-degree murder, first-degree assault and unlawful possession of a firearm in Washington. Bail was set at $2 million.
