Free Wi-Fi and Power in Chappaqua

CHAPPAQUA, N.Y.—While nearly 2,000 Chappaqua residents are still without power, many are probably looking for convenient and free places to go on online, charge their laptops and smartphones and answer e-mails. Luckily, there are two locations in Chappaqua that have power and Wi-Fi  in the wake of Tropical Storm Irene.

The Chappaqua Library , located at 195 South Greeley Avenue, had its power restored Sunday and Wi-Fi returned Tuesday morning. If you need to answer e-mails, charge your phone or laptop, stop here.

You can also visit Starbucks , located at 2 South Greeley Avenue, which is back in business after being closed yesterday, stranding Starbucks customers. Starbucks has free Wi-Fi and places to charge your phone, as well as some delicious coffee and treats.
