Eastchester Father Pleads Guilty In Crash That Killed Three

WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- Michael Ware, whose daughter was the driver in a fatal car accident in Pennsylvania Labor Day weekend in 2014, pleaded guilty Thursday to three counts of involuntary manslaughter and three counts of reckless endangerment, according to the Bucks County Courier Times

Ware faces up to 21 years in prison and a $45,000 fine when he is sentenced in August. Three teenage boys died in the car accident.

Outside of the courthouse, Ware apologized for allowing his daughter to drive, according to the Courier Times.

Ware's daughter, a 16-year-old Pleasantville resident, was sentenced in May to probation and community service. She was also ordered to write letters of apology and pay thousands in restitution.

Ed Lesher, whose son, Ryan, was killed in the accident, said he hopes Ware gets the maximum sentence according to the Bucks County Courier Times.

Shamus Digney and Cullen Keffer also died in the accident.
