Delays Expected As New Castle Repaves Roads

NEW CASTLE, N.Y. – Resurfacing work on several New Castle roads is expected to begin this month, town officials said. The work is tentatively scheduled to begin July 26 and will consist of repaving and milling.

Residents can expect delays on Byram Lake Road (Mount Kisco village line to Sarles Street), Whippoorwill Road (from Sutton Farms Road to North Castle town line), Glazier Preserve Parking Area, Douglas Road Extension (Hardscrabble Road to Skywood Road), and a portion Briarcliff Road.

The town will send out daily advisories on the construction work using Nixle alerts. Residents can sign up to have the alerts sent though email or directly to their phones.
