Citigroup Lays Off Employees In Armonk

ARMONK, N.Y.-- Citigroup Inc. will lay off 36 workers in Westchester County starting in November, according to the Westchester Business Journal.

The company filed a notice with the state Department of Labor last week about layoffs at 188 King St. in Armonk, and notified the employees in early August, WBJ said.

When the layoffs are complete, only the site manager and technology staff will remain at the Armonk site, WBJ said.

Citigroup spokesperson Janis Tarter told WBJ that the corporation expects their new service provider to offer jobs to the majority of the people who are laid off.
