“When parents are told that their children ‘need services,’ they become lost in the number of therapeutic options available,” Louise Weadock, founder of Access Sensory Kids, WeeZee –The Science of Play, and Access Health Care Services, said in a press release.

“The letters PT (physical therapy), OT (occupational therapy) and ST (speech therapy) all offer a great many advantages and benefits, but you need to be able to decipher what each does and come up with a plan that can work for your particular child.”

“That is why we are offering this service – to take the trial-and-error out of the equation.”

Occupational therapist Melysa Diament, who has 15 years of experience and a master’s degree in occupational therapy from the Washington University School of Medicine in Missouri, will be conducting the complimentary assessments.

Access Sensory Kids, WeeZee – The Science of Play, and Access Healthcare Services are in an 18,000-square-foot gym at 480 N. Bedford Road in Chappaqua.
