ACCESS Nursing Services has a nationally established name as a boutique provider of comprehensive and personalized health care packages for niche populations, including language- or culture-specific service packages, hard-to-serve geographic areas, special needs pediatric populations, and high-risk geriatric disease categories such as chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, cardiac disease and neuro-cognitive disorders.

Headquartered in Chappaqua, ACCESS Nursing Services has grown to include an operating budget of $50 million, five city-center offices, and seven hospital-based offices that employ 2,600 people in any given week. With its strongest footholds in New York City, New Jersey and Maryland, ACCESS Nursing Services offers connections to thousands of top hospitals and medical centers throughout the country.

“We’ve begun a massive recruitment effort for the best of the best in the nation and the most talented pool of nurses, OTs, PTs, finance, IT and other administrative health care professionals who are looking for top-notch opportunities throughout the U.S.,” said Weadock, a registered nurse with a master’s degree in public health from the Johns Hopkins University Bloomberg School of Public Health. “Our goal is to enhance our ability to expand the niche programs for which we have successfully built our healthcare infrastructure in New York City, New Jersey, and Maryland.”

Weadock said ACCESS is one of the few health care providers of its size that is 100 percent owned by its CEO, which enables the company to “keep corporate overhead well below its competitors and to give ACCESS the capital to entice the best personnel with above-average compensation packages.”
