CHAPPAQUA, N.Y. Several Chappqaua restaurants are inviting residents to come out and ring in the New Year with them on Saturday.
Quaker Hill Tavern will be open on New Years Eve from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. and is offering a number of specials throughout the evening.
The tavern is offering shrimp bisque from $6-7, chopped salad from $10-13, coconut shrimp for $14, filet mignon for $29, pistachio crusted salmon for $25, and rock shrimp linguini for $23.
We will be serving complimentary champagne to all of our guests, said manager Erin Teter. The restaurant does not take reservations and its last seating will be at 9 p.m.
Another restaurant open for New Year's Eve and New Year's Day will be Le Jardin Du Roi. The King Street resaurant will be open from 8 a.m. to midnight.
We will feature our regular menu with some nice specials," said owner Joe Quartararo.
Crabrees Kittle House has availability left at each of its seatings throughout the night. The first seating takes place from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. and features a three course dinner with a choice of an appetizer, entreé and dessert.
Admission is $65 per person plus beverages, tax and gratuity, $32.50 for children under 12 years old and $20 for a little kids menu.
The second seating is from 9:30 p.m. to 10 p.m., features a five course tasing menu and includes a champagne toast at midnight with hats, noise makers, live music and dancing. Admission is $125 per person, plus beverages, tax and gratuity.
Seating for a New Years dinner in the Atrium Carriage Room will take place from 9 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. The event is described as Studio 54 in 2011 and features disco music from the 1970s and 80s from a live DJ.
The dinner will have cocktails, hors doeuvres, a buffet, an open bard with wine and champagne, a midnight toast, noisemakers and party favors. Admission is $125 per person, plus tax and gratuity.
Those preferring to stay home for an intimate get together can pick up their own bottle of champagne from Chappaqua Wine and Spirit Co. on King Street. Owner Kirk Sprenger will be staying at his store for normal business hours on New Year's Eve.
